Jordan Vadnais is entering his first year as an Assistant Football Coach for the Deacons, where he will be working with the linemen. Prior to Shanley, he spent the last 7 seasons as one of the offensive and defensive line coaches at Fargo South where they won the State Championship titles in 2010, and again in 2013. Coach Vadnais has played a part in multiple Bruin State Championships in both coaching and playing. Vadnais played offensive tackle at Fargo South and was part of the 2004 and 2006 EDC and State Championship teams. He received the All Conference Award in 2006, along with a spot to play in the Badlands Bowl, where North Dakota beat Montana.
After high school, Coach Vadnais continued playing offensive line at NDSU. In the fall of 2009, Vadnais injured his back, which lead him to a career in coaching.
Coach Vadnais graduated from NDSU and married his wife, Kylie, in 2012. They live in Fargo with their dog, Denali.
